reading is fun 2

I've always known this. I adore reading and have ever since I was a little girl. Drew loves to read too, but his joy in a good story is more recently discovered. I wasn't sure which way Asher would fall.  We read together all the time, but he's also a very energetic boy and reading, is, well, more of a quiet, sit still kind of activity. 

I don't know if you know this, but sitting still is hard work for little boys. 

That's why it completely warmed my heart to walk in on this scene yesterday.

The very best kind of book? The one that combines a fun story with action...and animal noises {of course}

 

Asher loves to play/read this book! You look through the eye holes and pretend to be the animal that the picture shows. The best part is that when Asher does it he holds the picture towards himself, rather than out at the audience {me}.  ha - silly boy. 

Love him. :-)
